Dominga invites the community to celebrate cultural heritage day 2025 at the casona de La Higuera

Next Saturday, May 24, between 10:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Dominga will once again open the doors of the historic Casona de La Higuera to join the official Cultural Heritage Day route.

This heritage building, home to the former Pulpería (company store) in the 19th century, preserves its original architecture and now serves as a meeting point between the company and the community. It offers the perfect setting to honor the local history, shaped by a glorious past linked to mining activity.

Throughout the day, visitors will be able to experience what life and work were like in the 19th century. Guided tours of the old Pulpería will be offered, along with displays of authentic mining tools and household items from the 1940s to the 1960s, recreating everyday scenes from the period.

The event is free of charge and open to the public.
